They say that one good picture is worth a thousand words. Here is what South Gloucestershire Council are doing to boost sales of the bicycle gear calculator. Prior to the council building the new ring road through the Bristol & Bath Cycle path, the terrain was entirely flat so even the most grossly unfit rider could ride the entire distance on a single speed bike without difficulty. Now riders need gears in order to get up the hills.

Its not that the extra bicycle gear calculator sales aren't appreciated. Its just that the price ( South Gloucestershire Councils vandalism of the bicycle path) is perhaps a little high.
