The numbers on the sticker are copied from GearCalc Pro's assessment table. They represent the ideal speeds at which to change up through the gears. Ballpoint pen works best because the ink doesn't run in the rain. Note the cunning use of clingfilm to keep the water out of the cycle computer / speedometer thing on the handlebars. Any cycle computer will do for this and on the open road it can work really well. Riders are reminded to also look where they are going! |
