Estimates may be based on either your current or ideal body weight. Three different ranges of protein requirement are given. These are for 'normal healthy adults' (i.e. a minimum amount to sustain life), Endurance Atheletes, and Sprinters or body builders respectively. Just change the value (in pounds or kilogrammes) for the weight of the athelete to calculate a new set of daily protein requirements. |
