A Tribute To South Gloucestershire Council

The 'Machine Sculpture' is a recent addition to the sculpture trail on the Bristol to Bath Bicycle Track. It appears to be mostly constructed from scrap metal and broken auto parts but I think its kind of cool. Looking at the picture I can see a transmission chain, at least three gear cogs, a hub cap, a fender, eight spark plugs, a broken conrod plus various other bits.

I guess the sculptor wanted to express his appreciation too! The inscription reads:
THE ROAD WAS THE WORST HALUCINATION OF THEM ALL
LEADING TOWARDS HOME AND AWAY FROM IT
WITH TOO MANY SIGNS AND NO DIRECTIONS
