The 'Machine Sculpture' is a recent addition to the sculpture trail on the Bristol to Bath Bicycle Track. It appears to be mostly constructed from scrap metal and broken auto parts but I think its kind of cool. Looking at the picture I can see a transmission chain, at least three gear cogs, a hub cap, a fender, eight spark plugs, a broken conrod plus various other bits.
I guess the sculptor wanted to express his appreciation too!

Although the new gradients, diversions and ring road suck Nigel Jones would like to thank South Gloucestershire Council for the help in popularising my bicycle gear calculator!
